Chamberlain Yachts is pleased to announce the sale and delivery of a 209’/63.9m Royal Denship motor yacht.
Custom built in 2006, Turmoil is a magnificent blend of a luxury yacht and rugged world cruiser which remains in virtually the same magnificent condition today as when she was launched. She is a vessel that is fully equipped to meet the challenges of the Arctic Ocean, as her ice-breaking hull exceeds all class requirements. Turmoil is able to host multiple large deck tenders and has a generous heli deck.
Turmoil has a steel hull with an aluminium superstructure, allowing the yacht to reach 15 knots, powered by two Caterpillar 2,260 hp diesel engines, providing a range of 6500 nm. Designed as a luxury yacht, Turmoil is able to comfortably accommodate up to 16 guests in 8 cabins, as well as being capable of carrying 14 crew on-board to ensure a relaxing yachting experience for her guests.
Turmoil is also fully fitted with scientific climatology research facilities, making her a unique vessel in her sphere and the largest expedition yacht built by the Danish builders Royal Denship.
The luxury of having an on-board gym and large conference room, which can double as a cinema or playroom, is certain to provide an exceptional experience to the new owners of Turmoil. Her interiors are spectacular American Cherry and the spacious Sky Lounge faces forwards with raised visibility.
